These days, as always, it is hard to find a company or individual who delivers on promises and advertising. It should not be a surprise when people do what they say they will do, but it is always a pleasure when that happens.

Near the intersection of Lemay Ferry Rd and Baumgartener Rd.
Some many people have horror stories to tell about automobile service centers so, when we had occassion to "try" a new one, it was not something we looked forward to. A recent state inspection resulted in the service man scraping off the expensive interior U/V film we had just had installed.
That service center claimed no responsibility even though they placed the inspection sticker over part of the ripped window film.
Meyer's offered the specialized service we needed so we drove by several garages to make the seven mile trip to Lemay Ferry. We went fully expecting the obstacles and disappointments that normally stand in the way of a pleasant business experience. What a pleasant surprise!!
We found the staff at Meyer's to be friendly, professional and efficient. We asked about a nearby place to eat lunch and their driver took us to a restaurant and picked us up when the car was ready. Our service was done to order in half the time we expected.
The work was done for exactly the price that was quoted and the price was highly competitive.
There was one small glitch because a custom hub cap was not put back on securely so it disappeared on the way home. We called Rick and within two days our car had a new matching, special order hubcap. Now, that's integrity!
We eagerly award our Good Guys rating to Meyer's Automotive Center.
I needed a custom built metal planter to replace the one that had been built into my kitchen in 1954. It lasted 62 years before it leaked so, with that kind of craftsmanship, I knew it would be hard to find someone who who do that kind of work.
Online, I could buy small inserts that might have worked, but the cost was extremely high.
A few years ago I bought a flatscreen T.V. but, I did not want to mar my wood paneled wall in order to hang it. I found Custom Metal Works and they made a custom built stand that works great.
This time, they were able to build a custom made metal liner that fit like a glove in my kitchen planter. The work was done in a timely manner, delivered and set up without any damage to the rest of the kitchen,
Noel, the craftsman, was extremely polite and accomodating. These guys can repair wrought iron furniture, lawn tractors, tools, automobiles - you name it. I definitely would recommend the company to anyone who needs a custom metal job.
